(HNMO) - On May 17, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to open the 11th Exhibition: "Simple but noble examples". This is a practical annual event to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023); to summarize 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW "On promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

The exhibition introduces 133 examples of studying and following Uncle Ho.

With more than 200 images, documents, articles and artifacts, the exhibition "Ordinary and noble examples" introduces to the public 133 typical advanced examples, including 62 groups and 71 individuals selected from nearly 600 typical examples nationwide.

We can mention the example of teacher Nguyen Nhu Diep in Binh Thuan who is not only dedicated and passionate about teaching but also active in social charity activities; the determination of war invalid Nguyen Hong Yen in Nghe An to rise up to become a typical good producer, often sharing with difficult circumstances around him; the example of doctor Sung A Vang in Yen Bai, a good professional, devoted to patients, always exemplary, helping colleagues and enthusiastically participating in emulation movements... or the example of police officer Doan Van Minh, Lao Cai city, always upholding the sense of responsibility, bravely controlling especially dangerous subjects, protecting the peace of the people.

The exhibition aims to spread examples of good people and good deeds in today's life.

According to Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha, each image and article is a touching story about groups and ordinary people who have overcome their circumstances and fate, dared to think, dared to do, and devoted themselves to the benefit of the community, for the peace, prosperity and development of the country.

“From now on, the Exhibition is a particularly meaningful annual political and cultural activity, not only honoring the examples of “good people, good deeds” in life, but also contributing to further raising the awareness of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in each individual, each family, each organization, thereby contributing practical actions that have a wide spread in life, so that the whole society is always a beautiful flower forest of good people, good deeds respectfully offered to beloved President Ho Chi Minh on every occasion of his birthday,” said Mr. Vu Manh Ha.

The exhibition attracted many foreign tourists interested in and loving the image of President Ho Chi Minh.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to setting an example of good people and good deeds. He once told his compatriots and comrades nationwide: “Each good person and each good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest...”. In order to promote and educate the people about good people and good deeds, in June 1968, President Ho Chi Minh directed the publication of the book “Good People, Good Deeds”. The book series gathers typical examples in combat, labor and production… which were praised by President Ho Chi Minh and awarded his badge. After President Ho Chi Minh passed away, studying and following him became a regular, long-term, practical activity, entering the real life of each individual and each organization.

The exhibition lasts until the end of August 2023 and will continue to be displayed in many localities across the country.
