According to the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, these are individuals with a stable working history, high sense of responsibility, civilized service attitude and many good deeds.

They not only ensure safety and punctuality for hundreds of buses, but also enthusiastically support and help passengers, especially the elderly, students, and the disadvantaged. Many have returned belongings left behind by passengers on the bus, actively participated in community activities, and contributed to spreading the positive image of city buses.

According to Mr. Bui Hoa An, this activity aims to recognize and spread the responsible contributions of the team of drivers and bus service staff in maintaining the quality of daily operations, contributing to building the image of modern, civilized and close public transport to the people.

As one of the individuals honored at the program, Ms. Huong My (43 years old), a bus driver on route 166, shared: In the early days, she was still confused, and as a woman working in a job that is usually reserved for men, she encountered many difficulties. However, with perseverance and a sense of responsibility, she gradually got into the rhythm of the job, and gained the trust and love of passengers. For her, the safety and satisfaction of passengers is always the top priority.

At the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction launched the "Touch evenly - Win prizes" competition on bus routes that support cashless payments. The goal is to encourage innovation in service styles, support passengers in accessing digital payment methods and improve people's experience.

Competition effectiveness is assessed based on the number of cashless transactions per vehicle. Routes with outstanding results will be recognized weekly and monthly. Through this activity, Ho Chi Minh City demonstrates its determination to promote digital transformation in the public transport sector, creating a smart, interconnected and user-friendly transport ecosystem.
