The Central Internal Affairs Commission needs to closely coordinate with Party committees and internal affairs agencies to do a good job of grasping, analyzing, researching, forecasting the situation, and providing strategic advice to the Party according to assigned functions and tasks; providing advice on effective handling of complex issues, risks, and potential sources of instability, ensuring that we always maintain the initiative in all situations.
To effectively serve the country's current and future socio -economic development requirements, internal affairs, especially the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, and judicial reform must ensure both the fight against corruption, waste, and negativity and economic development with a GDP growth rate of at least 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the coming period.
The General Secretary requested the internal affairs sector to focus on advising and directing the promotion and creation of clear changes in the work of preventing and combating waste throughout society. It is necessary to identify preventing and combating waste as an urgent, priority task that must be done immediately. The country cannot develop rapidly and achieve double-digit growth without saving and allowing waste to continue to occur.
The General Secretary also requested that internal affairs work must closely follow and serve the goal of building a clean and strong Party, improving the Party's governing capacity and leadership capacity; it is necessary to continue to advise on doing a good job of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, contributing to Party building.
The General Secretary requested to focus on advising, directing, urging to accelerate the progress of inspection, investigation, and final handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption, waste, and negativity. At the same time, urge the review and completion of the implementation of conclusions and recommendations of inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, and trial, ensuring that by the end of the term of the 13th Party Congress, there will be basically no backlog of old cases and incidents.
The General Secretary also requested the Central Internal Affairs Commission to actively urge and accelerate the completion of the review and coordinate in advising on policies and directions for handling projects that are behind schedule, have long backlogs, are ineffective, and are at risk of loss and waste; direct, inspect, and supervise the prevention and combat of waste related to the management and use of public assets during and after the reorganization of the apparatus and administrative units.
The General Secretary requested the internal affairs sector to coordinate and advise on the effective implementation of Directive No. 45 of the Politburo on organizing party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; further improve the quality of personnel work, especially personnel for party congresses at all levels; and resolutely not allow degraded, corrupt, wasteful, and negative cadres to enter the new Party Committee.

Effectively carry out the heavy responsibility of the inspection industry
On the same day, General Secretary To Lam worked with the Central Inspection Commission to evaluate the work of the Central Inspection Commission since the beginning of the 13th Party Congress term and to orient the work in the coming time.
General Secretary To Lam assessed that the inspection sector has successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Party Committee and the tasks prescribed by the Party Charter with a very large workload, much higher than the previous term, and the quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision work have been increasingly improved.
General Secretary To Lam also appreciated the frankness of the Central Inspection Commission in reviewing the shortcomings and limitations in each aspect of work.
The General Secretary requested the Central Inspection Commission to continue to analyze and carefully evaluate the causes of existing shortcomings and limitations in order to find solutions to overcome them in the coming time in order to effectively carry out the heavy responsibility of the inspection sector in Party building work in the coming time.
According to the General Secretary, the tasks in the coming time, especially from now until the end of the term, are very heavy. Therefore, the Central Inspection Commission needs to urgently focus on implementing the set directions and tasks with high political determination, a sense of responsibility, solidarity, unity, and make important contributions to the cause of national construction and development; worthy of the trust of cadres, party members and people.
