At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation offered flowers and incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and people, the national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural celebrity, who founded and trained the Communist Party of Vietnam. His whole life he devoted and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

Carrying out his sacred testament, General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation vow to unite as one, follow Uncle Ho's example and perform well the assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, making Vietnam "more dignified and more beautiful" as Uncle Ho always wished during his lifetime.

At the Bai Duong Temple yard, Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, General Secretary To Lam presented the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province with the light sculpture “Vietnam – Golden Pages of History”. The work honors President Ho Chi Minh, who wrote the golden pages of history of the Vietnamese nation.

The work has a special size with a height of 1,945mm; a width of 2,025mm; a total weight of about 3 tons, made of solid bronze, in the shape of a history book, meaning that Vietnamese history is a golden history book and President Ho Chi Minh is the one who wrote the brilliant golden pages in the contemporary history of the nation.

The height of 1,945mm recalls the sacred mark in the history of the nation. That was the year President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The width of 2,025mm symbolizes the current milestone - 2025 - the whole country looks forward to the 50th anniversary of national reunification and the 135th anniversary of his birth. The 79 pages of the book symbolize the 79 springs that Uncle Ho lived for the country and the people.

In terms of content, the work uses the language of sculpture combined with sunlight to depict images of the historical journey of the Vietnamese people, symbolized through images of bronze drums, Lac birds, lotus flowers, and beautiful rivers and mountains...

Regarding the method of operation and artistic effects, every day when sunlight shines through the artwork onto the surface of the book, depending on the moment of the day, it will create images of Uncle Ho or symbols such as lotus flowers, flocks of Lac birds... Especially at two moments, 9:30-10:00 am and 2:00-2:30 pm, the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh appears.

The work is a work of art, and at the same time opens up a journey of experience for the viewer, from the lullabies in the hammock of childhood, to Uncle Ho's journey to find a way to save the country, the time he lived and worked in the Viet Bac resistance base... Each ray of light, each shape in the work is a story, a message from the past to today's generation.
