General Secretary To Lam, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, leaders of Nghe An province and a large number of people and tourists attended the opening ceremony of the Sen Village Festival.
The 2025 Sen Village Festival is a key political and cultural event, aiming to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). This year, the Sen Village Festival is held on a national scale, the highlight of the opening ceremony is the special art program "Monument in millions of hearts". Also at the opening ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Monument "Uncle Ho visits his hometown", a project donated by the Ministry of Public Security to the government and people of Nghe An province. The 2025 Sen Village Festival takes place from May 15 to May 19 with a series of solemn ceremonies and cultural, artistic and sports activities imbued with national identity.

Earlier, on the afternoon of May 15, General Secretary To Lam and the Central delegation visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, offering flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Chung Son Temple - the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh. General Secretary To Lam and the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of our Party and people, and an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement.
