On the morning of October 14, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held a solemn opening session with the participation of many leaders and former leaders of the Party and State through the periods.
Before the opening ceremony, General Secretary To Lam took time to visit the Ho Chi Minh City Press and Publishing Exhibition.
The General Secretary experiences Voiz FM's audiobooks. At the exhibition, more than 300 books, press publications and images were introduced, demonstrating the industry's journey of innovation.
President Luong Cuong and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia exchanged and took souvenir photos with leaders of publishing houses and newspapers.
Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Ngoc Hoi (left) introduced to former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan special audiobooks at the exhibition.
Former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived early to visit many display areas of newspapers from central to local levels.
The highlight of the exhibition is the display area of art books simulating Nha Rong Wharf, DK1 Platform and Binh Duong Administrative Center. These models symbolize the creative spirit, perseverance and aspiration of Ho Chi Minh City in the integration period.
The Ho Chi Minh City Press and Publishing Exhibition, hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, took place for 3 days, October 13-15, at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials. The event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.
