Total state budget expenditure in the first 6 months of the year increased by 12.9%

According to the General Statistics Office, total state budget revenue in June is estimated at VND93,500 billion. Total state budget revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached VND875,800 billion, equivalent to 54% of the year's estimate and down 7.8% compared to the same period last year.

In the first 6 months of the year, total state budget revenue was still enough to cover total expenditure.

Domestic revenue in June reached 70,400 billion VND; accumulated revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached 718,800 billion VND, equal to 53.9% of the year's estimate and down 4.7% over the same period last year.

Of which, revenue from the state-owned enterprise sector reached nearly VND98,000 billion, equal to 58.1% and increased by 10.9%; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises (excluding crude oil) was VND119,400 billion, equal to 52% and increased by 0.8%; revenue from non-state industrial, commercial and service taxes was VND171,300 billion, equal to 54.8% and equivalent to the same period last year; revenue from personal income tax was VND86,900 billion, equal to 56.2% and decreased by 7%...

In addition, revenue also comes from the following areas: revenue from crude oil in June reached 4,500 billion VND, accumulated in the first 6 months of the year reached 30,600 billion VND, equal to 72.9% of the year's estimate and decreased by 15%; budget balance revenue from import and export activities in June reached 18,600 billion VND, accumulated in the first 6 months of the year reached 126,400 billion VND, equal to 52.9% of the year's estimate and decreased by 20.6%.

Regarding total state budget expenditure, according to the General Statistics Office, June is estimated at 155,900 billion VND; the accumulated amount for the first 6 months of this year reached 804,600 billion VND, equal to 38.8% of the year's estimate and an increase of 12.9% over the same period last year.

Of which, regular expenditure reached VND537,400 billion, equal to 45.8% and increased by 5.5%; development investment expenditure was VND215,600 billion, equal to 29.7% and increased by 43.3%; debt interest payment was VND51,000 billion, equal to 49.5% and decreased by 0.8%.
