General Director Nguyen Van Khoa attended the opening of FPT's new office in Japan.

On May 13, FPT officially opened the FPT Gunma Mobility DX Hub office in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture (Japan). The launch of Mobility DX Hub marks a strategic step in expanding FPT's technology ecosystem in Japan, while contributing to the development of local technology and digital human resources.

The event was attended by FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa, FPT Software Chairman Chu Thanh Ha, local leaders, representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, and many partners and businesses in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa affirmed that FPT will strengthen closer cooperation with Gunma province, especially in the field of attracting and developing high-quality IT human resources.

FPT Software Chairman Chu Thanh Ha shared that FPT Gunma Mobility DX Hub is the door opening a new era in technology cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, especially in the context of AI, autonomous vehicles and digital transformation redefining every industry.

FPT is currently collaborating with many Japanese companies in fields such as automobiles, manufacturing and finance, while increasing investment to develop the digital ecosystem. The new office in Ota City - an area with many factories and businesses - is part of the strategy to expand its local presence and strengthen connections with customers.

Gunma Governor Yamamoto Ichita expressed his gratitude for FPT's investment decision. The provincial leaders welcomed a leading Vietnamese technology corporation choosing Gunma as an investment destination. Gunma currently has many businesses that have deep cooperation with Vietnam and wish to further strengthen ties with this Southeast Asian country. "As governor, I pledge to create the most favorable conditions for FPT to develop here," Mr. Yamamoto emphasized.

In the context of Vietnam - Japan relations being upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership, FPT in Japan, with 20 years of development, has increasingly affirmed its role as a technological bridge between the two countries. The spirit of “Stay hungry” is the guiding principle for FPT to constantly innovate, accompanying the Japanese industry to create a sustainable mobility future.

Representatives of Subaru customers also sent their congratulations at the event. Currently, FPT is accompanying Subaru in implementing digital transformation solutions and developing electric vehicles in both Vietnam and Japan, including providing high-quality operational personnel.

FPT Office in Gunma, located on the 3rd floor of SS Ota Building, just 3 minutes walk from Ota Station, is the 17th office of FPT Software in Japan. The space is designed to be open and modern with about 35 seats, an 8-person meeting room fully equipped with online meeting equipment, and many surrounding amenities.
