US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City pays courtesy call to provincial leaders

On the afternoon of July 9, Consul General Susan Burns and the delegation of the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City visited and paid courtesy visits to provincial leaders on the occasion of their visit to Phu Yen to attend the Pacific Partnership Program (PP23). Comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of relevant departments and branches of the province received the delegation.

At the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan expressed his joy at welcoming Ms. Susan Burns and the delegation of the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Yen to attend the activities of the PP23 Program. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan also gave an overview of the natural conditions, potentials, advantages, socio-economic development situation of Phu Yen and development orientations in the coming time. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Phu Yen always respects and appreciates the friendly relationship between the two countries, hoping that the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will act as a bridge to connect and introduce US businesses and investors to Phu Yen to explore investment opportunities in the fields of industry, renewable energy, etc.
