RT reported that Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu made the announcement on May 27 during talks with Mr. Tran Van Thanh, head of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of China.
It is known that Mr. Tran came to Russia to attend the 13th International Conference of High-Level Representatives on Security. This forum lasted for 3 days, from May 27 to May 29, with the participation of delegations from more than 100 countries.
"Russian President Putin will visit China in September," Shoigu said.

It is known that every September 3, China officially celebrates the day of defeating Japanese fascism, marking the end of World War II in Asia.
The announcement follows a state visit to Russia by Chinese President Xi Jinping earlier this month. Xi and other world leaders traveled to Russia to attend a military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II (9 May).
During talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Putin stressed that both Moscow and Beijing remain committed to protecting historical truth and remembering the sacrifices of their peoples in their respective wars of national defense.
"The Soviet Union sacrificed 27 million lives while 37 million lives were lost in the fight for China's freedom and independence... These sacrifices will never be forgotten," Mr. Putin stressed.
The two leaders also held in-depth discussions and signed a number of agreements to expand bilateral cooperation. The two sides issued a joint statement on global strategic stability. The Chinese Foreign Ministry described Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow as "very successful".
