Total value of humanitarian activities in the first 6 months of 2025 reached more than 62 billion VND

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Red Cross Societies at all levels in the province have always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Red Cross Society , Party committees and local authorities at all levels.

The Red Cross Associations at all levels have advised the Party Committees and the Government to direct and organize well key activities such as: Building a work program plan for 2025; organizing activities such as "Humanitarian Tet", "Humanitarian Month", the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address"; the program "Nutrition for poor and disabled children"; the program "Pot of loving porridge, charity meals"; implementing the movement "Good people, good deeds - joining hands to build a compassionate community"; voluntary blood donation campaign; continuing to deploy international aid to support the people of Lao Cai province affected by storm No. 3 in 2024 assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Central Association.

Humanitarian relief activities, especially livelihood support for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, are increasingly practical and effective, attracting the participation of organizations, philanthropists and people from all walks of life; promptly helping people in difficult circumstances to improve their lives, contributing to the implementation of the province's social security policy.

The total value of humanitarian activities in the first 6 months of 2025 in the whole province reached more than 62 billion 315 million VND, assisting 57,543 people.

At the conference, 56 individuals were awarded the "For Humanitarian Cause" Medal by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society for their outstanding achievements in humanitarian activities, contributing to building a strong Vietnam Red Cross Society; Certificates of Merit were awarded to 9 individuals who donated blood 9 times or more.
