With many synchronous and practical solutions, up to now, the whole province has 50/126 communes meeting environmental and food safety criteria.

During the 2021-2025 period, the province planted and cared for more than 700 km of flower roads, maintained 326 km of power lines, cleaned 1,175 km of village roads and alleys, collected over 100 tons of waste and dredged 168 km of sewers.

Localities also built 5 waste treatment model points with 59 mini garbage stations, developed 111 "bright - green - clean - beautiful" models and maintained 215 self-managed farmer routes.

The rate of rural households using hygienic water reached 95.2%, of which 47% used clean water that met standards.

100% of medical waste is collected and treated; 83% of domestic waste; 80% of used pesticide packaging is collected and treated according to regulations. Along with that, 95% of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments meet food safety conditions.

Currently, the whole province has 16 communes meeting the new rural standards with advanced environment and 21 communes meeting the standards with advanced living environment quality.
