The green tea fields that adorn the beautiful and majestic natural landscape of the steel land of Muong Khuong are a symbol of prosperity and abundance for the people here.

The entire Muong Khuong district has a total tea growing area of over 5,800 hectares, with fresh tea bud output reaching over 36,400 tons in 2024. (In the photo: The vast Lung Vai tea area). The Flat Tao tea growing area (Ban Sen commune) is considered one of the most beautiful tea fields with lush green color, rows of tea trimmed like terraced fields winding around the hills. The most impressive is the raspberry tea hill in Sin Chai village (Thanh Binh commune). The entire Thanh Binh commune has more than 800 hectares of tea, bringing a stable source of income to the local people. Seen from above, the tea hills look like a cool green carpet.
Pure dawn on the tea fields in Ban Sen. Tea trees are currently grown in all communes and towns of Muong Khuong district, of which 90% of the cultivated area is Shan Tuyet variety. Muong Khuong identifies tea as a key crop to help people sustainably reduce poverty and develop household economies . The green tea fields are created by the skillful hands of Muong Khuong farmers.
The road is like a silk strip connecting the vast tea growing area. Coming to the steel land of Muong Khuong, everywhere you can see the green color of vast tea hills. The 2025 spring tea crop yielded over 9,000 tons, with Muong Khuong farmers earning nearly 68 billion VND.
