The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is heating up before the opening ceremony (7am on June 15, Hanoi time), after teams completed special transfer versions to add personnel.

According to Transfermarkt, Kylian Mbappe is the most valuable player at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Mbappe's current value is 180 million euros, an increase of 20 million euros compared to when he first debuted for Real Madrid.

Although Real Madrid had an unsuccessful season, Mbappe still stood out with two individual awards, the Pichichi and the European Golden Shoe.

Mbappe's teammate, midfielder Jude Bellingham, and Erling Haaland are both valued at 180 million euros.

Haaland's value has decreased by 20 million euros compared to the end of 2024. This is understandable, when the Norwegian striker has unstable performance and Man City's heavy failures on all fronts.

The player with the biggest drop in value according to Transfermarkt's rating is Vinicius Junior.

Unable to show his performance compared to the 2023/24 season, when competing for the Golden Ball (losing to Rodri), Vinicius' market value dropped from 200 million euros to 170 million euros.

However, the Brazilian striker is still among the four most valuable players at the FIFA Club World Cup – a new version of the club tournament with huge prize money .

Of the six most valuable players at the FIFA Club World Cup, four are Real Madrid players. The other is midfielder Federico Valverde.

Other notable faces include Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich; €140m), Cole Palmer (Chelsea; €120), Rodri (Man City; €110), Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid; €100), Phil Foden (Man City; €100) and Michael Olise (Bayern; €100).

Currently, according to Transfermarkt's ranking, Lamine Yamal is the most expensive player in the world - 200 million euros. He is the first player in history to reach this milestone before the age of 18.

Lamine Yamal will not be participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup because Barcelona has had poor results in European cups in recent seasons.

Besides Yamal, other valuable players who had to watch the FIFA tournament included Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice (Arsenal), Pedri and Raphinha (Barca), Florian Wirtz (transferred from Leverkusen to Liverpool), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool).
