Designer Dung Nguyen shared with Tuoi Tre Online that the project Loving Ao Dai - Loving the Country was something he had been nurturing since the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
He wants to use the ao dai to tell cultural and historical stories, to inspire patriotism, especially among young people.

The project involved 20 people from many different professions and ages. The youngest was about 2 years old, the oldest was nearly 70 years old.

In addition to designing the ao dai, in this project Dung Nguyen also takes on many other roles such as: stylist, choosing locations for promotional photo shoots, coming up with ideas for the photo shoots...
The locations he chose to shoot: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Long Bien train station, Hanoi streets...
