At the same time, the electric Toyota bZ7 2026 was also developed by a regional chief engineer team specifically for the Chinese market. The concept version of the Toyota bZ7 appeared at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show. The model appearing this time in Shanghai is the commercial production version.

The bZ7 does not surprise in terms of design because it applies Toyota's new language, similar to many other electric vehicles of the same brand. The car has a slim C-shaped headlight cluster that extends across the entire front and does not have a traditional grille.

In particular, Toyota's new recruit is also equipped with a LiDAR sensor on the roof. This is a sign that the car will have advanced driving assistance technology ADAS. Most likely, this system will be provided by Huawei.

From the side, the Toyota bZ7 impresses with its sloping roof, seamlessly integrated with the rear spoiler. In addition, there are door handles partially hidden in the body and 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. Compared to the concept version, the digital camera has been replaced by a traditional rearview mirror and physical door handles have also been added.

At the rear of the car, the Toyota bZ7 has extended taillights, high-mounted brake lights, and a small spoiler integrated into the rear trunk door. All of these create a sporty and dynamic look for this pure electric sedan. Inside the cockpit of the bZ7, there are interior ambient lights installed in many locations.
