Department of Construction announces the restriction of inland waterway traffic to serve the construction of the embankment project to prevent landslides on Tac Muong Lon canal (from Muong Dua canal to the junction with Giong Chon canal)

This Department announced that from now on, the construction area of the project to build an embankment to prevent landslides on Tac Muong Lon canal (from Muong Dua canal to the junction with Giong Chon canal) at Km 4+300 to Km 4+650 on the Rach Dinh - Tac Muong Lon route, Hiep Phuoc commune, Ho Chi Minh City will have waterway signals installed and controlled to ensure waterway traffic safety.

Specifically, 2 buoys will be installed to limit the water area, marked B4.2, 10m from the left bank towards the river. Buoy No. 1 will be installed at Km 4+300, about 50m upstream from the project; Buoy No. 2 will be installed at Km 4+650, about 50m downstream from the project. The estimated time to implement the traffic restriction is 6 months.

The Department of Construction requires inland waterway vehicles when traveling to construction areas to strictly comply with the rules and instructions of inland waterway signs at the site.

At the same time, monitor flow notifications on mass media, comply with issued legal regulations related to inland waterway traffic safety.
