Ho Chi Minh City will add quotas for grade 10.

Accordingly, the criteria for additional admission to grade 10 are only for students who have failed all 3 grade 10 preferences and have a standard score higher than or equal to the third preference of the school that is lacking in quota. Some students who have applied for admission to vocational schools or continuingeducation centers, if they pass the additional admission, can still withdraw their application to enroll in public schools that they have already passed.

As for secondary school students in the districts of Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi and Thu Duc City, they register to attend high schools in the same area and will be considered based on the school's first choice standard score.

Thu Duc City is divided into 3 areas including District 2, 9 and Thu Duc (old) for admission, only schools that do not meet their quota will consider additional admission.

Each student can only register for additional enrollment at 1 public high school that has not yet met its assigned enrollment quota and cannot change schools after submitting the additional enrollment registration application.

Students wishing to enroll additional students should submit their applications directly to the high school. Registration time is from July 22 to July 27, and results will be announced on August 6.
