On the afternoon of July 24, the Standing Provincial Party Committee delegation led by comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, visited and worked at Thai Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant; and also surveyed a number of tourism projects on Highway 706B to Bau Trang area.

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade and Thai Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant reported on the plant's operations and activities.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Ut, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lam Dong province, reported at the meeting.

Thai Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant has been operating safely and stably since October 2021, with electricity output in 2024 reaching 214 million kW/hour, with revenue of nearly 450 billion VND. The unit focuses on maintenance, repair, and periodic testing in accordance with regulations; at the same time, it prioritizes the use of local labor, accounting for more than 82% of the staff. The unit also regularly coordinates with local authorities to participate in social security activities such as giving scholarships to poor but studious students, contributing to the fund for the poor, and supporting health insurance for poor households.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam expressed his joy when visiting the Thai Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant and highly appreciated the operational efficiency of the unit. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary emphasized that the Thai Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant is one of the units applying the latest technology in the green technology system, in line with the sustainable development orientation according to Resolution 57 and Vietnam's commitment to reduce net emissions by 2030. Lam Dong province always encourages and accompanies investors in developing renewable energy suitable to local terrain characteristics.

The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that the difficulties and problems that businesses are facing, especially those under the local authority, the Province will direct the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with departments, branches and businesses to resolve and create favorable conditions for businesses to develop. At the same time, he hopes that the factory will continue to accompany the locality in social security activities, contributing to improving people's lives.
