In an effort to provide efficient and professional emergency services to the people, Ho Chi Minh City is implementing an important project to open the first ambulance helicopter station in the area. According to the plan, the 115 Emergency Center will cooperate closely with the 175 Military Hospital to establish this station, serving both the city and the southern region.
This project is considered an important step forward in improving the quality and scope of emergency medical services in Ho Chi Minh City. In the context of increasing population and medical needs, having an air ambulance system will ensure the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations, especially in cases of serious accidents or situations requiring immediate intervention.
The 115 aviation emergency station will be located on the campus of Military Hospital 175, with the joint management of the Southern Helicopter Company - Army Corps 18.
The helicopter is expected to be used alongside a range of other emergency vehicles, including specialised ambulances and motorcycle ambulances. The staff will be professionally trained and experienced, ensuring the ability to respond to emergency situations as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In addition to opening the helicopter ambulance station, the plan to upgrade Ho Chi Minh City’s outpatient emergency system also includes strengthening facilities and human resources for satellite hospitals and emergency stations in the area. This underscores the city’s commitment to improving the quality of medical services and ensuring the health of its residents.
According to observations, the opening of this ambulance helicopter station is not only an important step forward in the city's medical sector but also an example of the development and improvement of the quality of medical services nationwide. Hopefully, this project will bring great benefits and save many lives in the future.
