This event marks an important starting point for a series of activities accompanying businesses, mobilizing technology platforms to spread the image of Ho Chi Minh City to the international market.
Ms. Huynh Thi Mai Thy, Director of Traveloka Vietnam, shared that Ho Chi Minh City has a lot of potential to develop tourism, especially types of tourism such as MICE combined with shopping tours, medical tourism, and beach tourism.
"I hope this cooperation will help Ho Chi Minh City's tourism name appear more on the world tourism map, while bringing tourists easy and convenient travel experiences," Ms. Mai Thy expressed.
Ho Chi Minh City tourism will have a "culinary passport"
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism is also promoting unique culinary values through cooperation with Foody Joint Stock Company (the operator of ShopeeFood) to launch the "Culinary Passport" program - a smart interactive tool, helping tourists easily explore and check-in unique culinary journeys.
