The program is accompanied by businesses in the entire tourism ecosystem: airlines with preferential airfares, high-class hotels and resorts with international standard accommodation services, specialty restaurants with unique culinary experiences, and health care, spa and beauty facilities.

This event marks an important starting point for a series of activities accompanying businesses, mobilizing technology platforms to spread the image of Ho Chi Minh City to the international market.

Ms. Huynh Thi Mai Thy, Director of Traveloka Vietnam, shared that Ho Chi Minh City has a lot of potential to develop tourism, especially types of tourism such as MICE combined with shopping tours, medical tourism, and beach tourism.

"I hope this cooperation will help Ho Chi Minh City's tourism name appear more on the world tourism map, while bringing tourists easy and convenient travel experiences," Ms. Mai Thy expressed.

Ho Chi Minh City tourism will have a "culinary passport"

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism is also promoting unique culinary values through cooperation with Foody Joint Stock Company (the operator of ShopeeFood) to launch the "Culinary Passport" program - a smart interactive tool, helping tourists easily explore and check-in unique culinary journeys.

In 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City culinary guide will be republished in print and electronic form, adding many addresses and typical dishes in new wards and communes.

The synchronous launch of the "Culinary Passport", experience tours and culinary guides will bring visitors a colorful journey of discovery, contributing to positioning Ho Chi Minh City as the leading culinary paradise in Vietnam.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Department of Tourism, emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is promoting the application of technology and digital transformation to create new and different experiences for tourists.

"The Department of Tourism continues to coordinate with the business community and technology platforms to form a convenient and rich service ecosystem, making the journey to explore Ho Chi Minh City easier but still bearing its own mark," said Ms. Anh Hoa.
