Ho Chi Minh City: Arrange 10 vehicles to take officials from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) to work

Ho Chi Minh City continues to arrange 10 16-45 seat vehicles to transport officials, civil servants and public employees from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) to the working center.

On the afternoon of July 3, at a press conference on the socio-economic situation, the Public Transport Management Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction) said: In order to create favorable conditions for civil servants, public employees and workers to work with peace of mind after the merger, the Department has organized a plan to transport cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) to Ho Chi Minh City to work and has been deployed since July 1.

However, after 3 days of implementation, by July 3, only 17 people in Binh Duong and 8 people in Ba Ria - Vung Tau participated.

Explaining the reason, the Department of Construction said that at first, few people participated because the city's agencies, departments and branches were in the process of arranging and assigning personnel.

The Department will continue to maintain and arrange 10 vehicles including 4 45-seat vehicles and 6 16-seat vehicles (each locality will arrange 2 45-seat vehicles and 3 16-seat vehicles). In particular, in Binh Duong (old), 10 trips/day will be arranged (5 outbound trips, 5 return trips), with a travel time of 90 minutes. In Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old), 10 trips/day will be arranged (5 outbound trips, 5 return trips), with a travel time of 135 minutes.

For the need for transit when arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at Saigon Bus Station, the Public Transport Management Center has worked with the transport unit and arranged a 16-seat vehicle so that when officials, civil servants and public employees from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) arrive, there will be a vehicle waiting to take them to their workplace.

The Department of Construction will continue to direct the Public Transport Management Center to proactively monitor and grasp the travel needs of officers and employees of departments, branches, and units and increase information in many diverse forms for officers, civil servants, and public employees to know and use. After about 1-2 weeks, the Department will have an assessment to make appropriate adjustments.
