(ABO) To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), in order to express gratitude to passengers who have been using public bus transport services, the Ho Chi Minh City bus system will offer free bus use on all routes (133 routes) on April 30, 2025.
According to the Public Transport Management Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport), all passengers using buses including intra-provincial bus routes and adjacent provincial bus routes connecting to Ho Chi Minh City are exempted from tickets on April 30. Passengers are given tickets, enjoy full passenger rights when using buses and are exempted from paying for tickets.

The Public Transport Management Center requires transport businesses to organize transport activities on bus routes in accordance with approved operating parameters, ensuring compliance with regulations under the contract signed with the Public Transport Management Center. In addition, issue tickets to passengers on bus routes and commit not to collect fares from passengers (including tickets for luggage exceeding the free-ticket size).
The Public Transport Management Center also requested that transport businesses absolutely not allow their drivers and service staff to collect fares from passengers on April 30, 2025.
