This is the first unit nationwide to deploy this model and is an important milestone in the journey of Hue City Post Office and local authorities to effectively implement administrative reform, serving people, organizations and businesses, in order to realize the Government's policy on building a service-oriented administration and promoting comprehensive digital transformation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized that the event affirmed that Hue City is a locality implementing a new model in administrative reform, implementing the Prime Minister 's direction to shift from the state of "asking - giving" to provide public services to the state of "proactive - serving", providing public services to people and businesses; demonstrating the spirit of innovation, creativity, and digital transformation.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee committed to closely direct and ensure that the model is implemented on schedule, effectively and in accordance with reality for the goal of building an image of a "proactive - serving" government, for the satisfaction of the people and the sustainable development of Hue city.
The model of guiding, receiving documents and returning results of administrative procedure settlement regardless of administrative boundaries is deployed at 9 post office service points, allowing people to submit administrative procedure dossiers at the post office's reception points, regardless of their place of residence or place of household registration.
People in cities or communes can easily access public services at the nearest and most convenient location. These 9 reception points will directly receive, guide, digitize records, return results and support people to look up and register for administrative procedures quickly and effectively.

In addition, Hue City Post Office also deployed a system of 136 public service agents established in all wards, communes and towns, on the basis of promoting the effectiveness of the existing network of Commune Cultural Post Offices. Post Office staff will support people to submit online applications on the National Public Service Portal/City Public Service Portal; receive administrative procedure applications according to the process; transfer paper applications to competent agencies for settlement and receive and return administrative procedure settlement results to people at the requested address.
