Pho Yen City: Honoring outstanding collectives and individuals of former youth volunteers

On June 17, the Pho Yen City Association of Former Youth Volunteers held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Youth Volunteer Team to fight against the US and save the country (June 21, 1965 - June 21, 2025) and summarize the association's work for the period 2020-2025.

Leaders of the Former Youth Volunteer Association of Pho Yen City awarded the badge "Former Youth Volunteers following Uncle Ho's teachings" to 4 members.

The Association of Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP) of Pho Yen City currently has nearly 400 members, operating at 17 association bases. In the period of 2020-2025, the Association has launched and effectively implemented the emulation movement "Former Youth Volunteers set a creative example, study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings", associated with the implementation of political tasks, charitable activities, helping each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty and build a strong Association organization.

The Association has mobilized to build a fund of over 500 million VND; organized visits, encouragement, longevity celebrations, and gifts for over 400 members with a total cost of over 200 million VND; supported over 20 members to borrow over 300 million VND for economic development. In addition, members also voluntarily donated over 5,600m² of land and contributed over 300 million VND to build rural roads and other public works...

Leaders of the Pho Yen City Veterans Association awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Veterans Association to collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

On this occasion, 5 individuals were awarded the "For the cause of Former Youth Volunteers" Medal; 4 members were awarded the "Former Youth Volunteers following Uncle Ho's teachings" Badge; 1 individual was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Association and 1 collective was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Association for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025. The Provincial Association also awarded 10 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to sick members and those in difficult circumstances.
