(BDO) On the morning of April 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot City organized a festival for self-governing groups to protect the environment and respond to climate change in residential areas and religious organizations; launching the implementation of the model "Garbage-free city" in the city in 2023.

Attending the festival were Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities; 480 members of 32 self-governing groups for environmental protection and climate change response in residential areas and religious organizations in the city and a volunteer student team from Thu Dau Mot University.
Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee Nguyen Van Dong awarded prizes to individuals with many contributions to the activities of the Self-Managed Environmental Protection Team.
At the festival, a number of units introduced good and effective practices; gave comments and recommendations on the organization and maintenance of activities of the Self-Management Team for Environmental Protection and Climate Change Response.

At the festival, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city awarded 28 individuals with many contributions to the activities of the Self-Managed Environmental Protection Team.
On this occasion, self-management groups launched the "Garbage-free City" model.
