On November 1, Tuy Hoa City People's Committee solemnly held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of Phu Yen province. Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Dang Le Tien, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; Dao Bao Minh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission; Huynh Lu Tan, Secretary of Tuy Hoa City Party Committee.
Also attending were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My; former provincial leaders of different periods; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Party building committees; leaders of Tuy Hoa City and related departments, branches and units.

At the event, Chairman of Tuy Hoa City People's Committee Cao Dinh Huy announced Resolution 1200/NQ-UBTVQH15, dated September 28, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Phu Yen province in the period of 2023-2025 and the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee on transferring villages and neighborhoods when implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Tuy Hoa City according to Resolution 1200.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to merge the entire natural area of 3.58km 2 , with a population of 6,408 people of Binh Ngoc commune into ward 1. Merge the entire natural area of 1.58km 2 , with a population of 9,486 people of ward 6 into ward 4. Adjust part of the natural area of 0.089km 2 , with a population of 2,322 people of ward 9 and the entire natural area of 1.47km 2 , with a population of 9,531 people of ward 8 to merge into ward 2. Adjust part of the natural area of 0.055km 2 , with a population of 1,749 people of ward 9 and the entire natural area of 0.3km 2 , with a population of 6,692 people of ward 3 to merge into ward 5. After the arrangement, Tuy Hoa city has 12 Commune-level administrative units, including 9 wards and 3 communes.

Also at the program, the leaders of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the City Party Committee's decisions on establishing Party Committees of wards 1, 2, 4, 5 and appointing the Party Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the wards for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My emphasized: The arrangement of 7 wards and Binh Ngoc commune, combined with the adjustment of the administrative boundaries of Ward 9 to establish 4 new wards of Tuy Hoa City is an important political event not only for the Party Committee and People of Tuy Hoa City but also for the Party Committee and People of the province.
The arrangement of administrative units aims to concentrate resources, promote potentials and advantages, expand development space, create new development momentum, promote growth and economic restructuring, improve the material and spiritual life of the people, and at the same time create a new turning point in the process of building and developing Tuy Hoa City towards becoming a type I urban area in the future.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My requested relevant departments, branches of the province and Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations of Tuy Hoa City to continue to promote information and propaganda on Resolution 1200 of the National Assembly Standing Committee so that cadres, party members and people can clearly understand, create consensus and actively implement to achieve the highest results.
Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and mass organizations of Tuy Hoa City continue to uphold the sense of responsibility in leadership and direction; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers; direct the arrangement, management, and use of headquarters and public assets of agencies and units after the arrangement in accordance with regulations, ensuring savings and efficiency, and avoiding waste of public assets.
