Ho Chi Minh City announces recruitment of more than 6,000 teachers

On August 14, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the plan to recruit teachers for the 2025-2026 school year for all levels from preschool to high school.

Accordingly, high schools under the Department of Education and Training need to recruit 671 teachers. Of which, Region 1 (formerly Ho Chi Minh City) 460 teachers; Region 2 (formerly Binh Duong province) 157 teachers; Region 3 (formerly Ba Ria-Vung Tau) 54 teachers.

For public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones, the number of staff needed to recruit is 5,726 teachers. Of which, 615 are preschool teachers, 2,040 are primary school teachers, and 3,071 are secondary school teachers.

Region 1 needs to recruit 3,089 teachers; Region 2 needs to recruit 1,990 teachers; Region 3 needs to recruit 647 teachers.

For units in Area 3, send to the address: Public Administration Center, No. 4 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ba Ria Ward, HCMC.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will have a total of more than 2.5 million students (an increase of more than 39,600 students compared to the previous school year).

Of which, preschool has 478,458 students; primary school has 939,002 students; secondary school has 759,278 students; high school has 352,051 students.
