Ho Chi Minh City verifies assets and income of 11 people at 3 units

On the afternoon of September 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate organized a random draw, selecting 11 individuals from 3 units to verify assets and income in the second phase of 2025.

The units include: Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies.

Specifically, the Department of Justice has 72 people required to declare assets and income; the Department of Tourism has 19 people; and the Institute for Development Studies has 17 people. The positions declared are mainly heads, deputy heads of departments, and specialists or accounting positions.

After announcing the lottery results, the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate will issue a decision to verify assets and income of relevant individuals and units within 15 days as prescribed.

Previously, in the first phase (May 2025), Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate verified assets and income of 66 people from 19 units.

Verification of assets and income is a regular task to check the truthfulness and completeness of declarations; prevent corruption, and raise the responsibility and awareness of officials and civil servants in the work of declaring, publicizing and controlling assets and income.
