Tan Hiep Commune: Disciplinary action against 6 violators

The Party Committee and the government of Tan Hiep commune (An Giang province) have always paid attention to the work of detecting and handling corruption, waste and negativity, and have implemented many synchronous solutions. Thereby, gradually improving the effectiveness of prevention, timely detecting and handling violations.

On the morning of August 29, the Tan Hiep Commune Party Committee ( An Giang Provincial Party Committee) held a conference to review the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity for the 2020-2025 term.

From January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025, the Party Committee carried out inspection, supervision, and complaint and denunciation settlement in 4 communes: Thanh Dong, Thanh Dong B, Tan Hiep B, Tan Hiep town (old), now Tan Hiep commune. Thereby, 6 cases were disciplined, including 2 cases of expulsion from the Party, 1 warning, and 3 reprimands.

Every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations strengthen supervision and social criticism of resolutions of the People's Council, decisions of the People's Committee, public investment projects and programs, management and use of the budget, land and public assets; urge and monitor the handling results of competent authorities on cases related to corruption, waste and negativity.

Along with that, monitor budget collection and expenditure, public land management, welfare projects, and investment projects to promptly detect violations and waste; propose corrective and remedial measures to prevent violations, ensuring democracy, publicity, and transparency.

The communal political system promotes the people's direct mastery by "people knowing, people discussing, people doing, people checking, people supervising, people benefiting"; participating in monitoring, promptly reflecting on manifestations of corruption, negativity, and waste of cadres and civil servants; denouncing acts of corruption and negativity to competent authorities...
