On the morning of November 3, An Giang province solemnly held the first Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025-2030. Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of An Giang province, emphasized: Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement of the province has developed strongly, gone into depth, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of political , economic and social tasks.

Specifically, the province's average economic growth rate over the past 5 years is estimated at 6.20%. Key emulation movements such as "An Giang joins hands to build new rural areas" and "For the poor - leaving no one behind" have brought about practical results. Up to now, the province has had 87.6% of communes meeting new rural standards and has mobilized resources to build more than 10,000 Great Unity houses for the poor.
