The Government requires the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to ensure that civil servants, public employees and workers are paid full salaries, bonuses and arranged Tet holidays in accordance with regulations.
According to Directive No. 30/CT-TTg dated December 15, 2023, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to focus on reviewing and grasping the living conditions of policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances to care for them and promptly have appropriate support policies.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organizes visits and presents gifts to the right people, in accordance with the regime, publicly and transparently, avoiding duplication and overlap, not taking advantage of or profiting from policies, ensuring that all policy beneficiaries have gifts and receive gifts before Tet, leaving no one without Tet; Monitor and grasp the labor situation in industrial parks, export processing zones, economic zones, especially in localities with a large concentration of workers, creating favorable conditions for workers to take Tet holidays and return to work after Tet.
The Prime Minister's Directive clearly states that it is necessary to strengthen inspection and implement measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, ensuring that civil servants, public employees and workers are paid full salaries and bonuses and arranged Tet holidays according to regulations.
In addition to fully implementing social insurance and unemployment insurance policies and regimes, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs needs to support and create conditions to ensure that Vietnamese workers abroad can celebrate Lunar New Year according to the nation's customs and traditions and in accordance with actual conditions.
Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen the work of protecting and caring for children, ensuring that all children have a happy and warm Tet holiday; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of prevention and control of accidents, injuries to children, prevention of violence, and abuse of women and children...
The Government also requires regular monitoring and inspection of the operations of drug rehabilitation facilities, absolutely preventing students from escaping en masse, destroying property and facilities, and causing instability in the local political and social situation during the Lunar New Year.
