STO - Mr. Le Van Nghiep, residing in Saintard Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, Long Phu District ( Soc Trang ) reported: His son Le Tien Dat went to his friend's house to drink, then had a traffic accident and died. The Investigation Police Agency of Long Phu District Police announced the results of the forensic examination, the cause of his son's death was due to a traumatic brain injury, in a violation of road traffic regulations that occurred on April 16, 2021 on Provincial Road 933 in Cai Quanh Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, but Mr. Nghiep did not agree with the results of the forensic examination. He said that his son's death was due to murder, because his son had previously had a conflict with a group of local youths.
On May 25, 2023, the Long Phu District Police Investigation Agency issued Official Dispatch No. 66/DTTH in response to Mr. Nghiep's complaint as follows: The Long Phu District Police Investigation Agency has accepted a case of violation of regulations on road traffic participation that occurred on April 16, 2021 on Provincial Road 933 in Cai Quanh Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, Long Phu District (Soc Trang), the victim was Mr. Le Tien Dat, born in 2001, residing in Saintard Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, Long Phu District, died. Based on the results of the inspection and verification, it was determined that on April 16, 2021, Mr. Le Tien Dat was driving a motorbike in traffic, could not control the steering wheel, and caused a traffic accident that resulted in Mr. Dat's death, so the Long Phu District Police Investigation Agency issued a decision not to prosecute the criminal case for the reason that: no crime occurred; and informed Mr. Nghiep. Therefore, the above case has been resolved by the Investigation Police Agency of Long Phu District Police.
The contents stated by Mr. Le Van Nghiep in the petition have been inspected, verified and resolved by the Investigation Police Agency of Long Phu District Police according to regulations, and at the same time, responded to Mr. Nghiep as Notice No. 44/TB-CQDT, dated July 2, 2021, Notice No. 61/TB-CQDT, dated November 4, 2021, Notice No. 65/TB-CQDT dated December 1, 2021. Through the current work, Mr. Le Van Nghiep did not present anything further.
