Tran Yen deploys investment project to build Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line

In Tran Yen district, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction project running through 3 communes: Minh Quan, Y Can and Quy Mong is expected to affect about 400 households. In particular, in Minh Quan commune, it is expected to reclaim land in 6 villages: Bao Lam, Doan Ket, Dong Quyt, Dong Danh, Linh Duc and Duc Quan; in Y Can commune, in 5 villages: Minh Phu, Minh Tan, Hong Tien, An Phu and Quyet Thang; in Quy Mong commune, in 3 villages: Tan Viet, Tan Thinh and Tan Cuong.

To implement the Project in the area, Tran Yen district has assigned relevant sectors and localities to organize meetings with people in the project area to propagate and disseminate the purpose, meaning and importance of the Project; contents on surveying and mapping along the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway route passing through the communes so that people can clearly understand and create high consensus in the process of project implementation.

Up to now, the localities have established working groups to coordinate with the Project Management Board to review the current status of land; relevant units have conducted surveys of the current status, recorded the current status of works, and drawn up plot and plot diagrams to serve the work of recovering and compensating for the Project implementation. The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project running through the three communes of Minh Quan, Y Can and Quy Mong is expected to affect about 400 households.

It is known that the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project running through Yen Bai province has a length of nearly 77 km with 2 passenger and cargo stations, An Thinh and Yen Bai; there are 3 technical stations, Chau Que Thuong, Dong An and Y Can. Yen Bai station is located in Dong Danh village, Minh Quan commune (IC12 intersection area). In particular, the section passing through Yen Bai province is given priority for site clearance in the first phase.
