
On the morning of November 28, in Vinh city, the Provincial Farmers’ Association held the opening of a training course on online sales methods. Attending were 100 members who are OCOP subjects, good production and business households from the localities: Vinh city, Cua Lo, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association emphasized: In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation is taking place strongly. The requirement for production and business units today is to have a strategic vision, seize opportunities to solve challenges and digital transformation will help businesses and cooperatives have more opportunities to develop more widely, connect quickly and at the same time create effective business models.

During the 1-day course, members will learn the following contents: Forms of electronic transactions; Application of e-commerce in individual businesses; marketing knowledge and online sales methods; instructions on applying traceability software to bring products to the digital market; State mechanisms and policies, development trends in digital transformation in agriculture; benefits of digital transformation in economic and social development...
Training to improve business skills on digital platforms will help OCOP entities such as enterprises, cooperatives, and business households promote trade through digital platforms, promoting the development of the digital economy in agriculture and rural areas.

At the same time, connect, promote, introduce products, add new distribution channels, expand domestic and international markets; boost consumption of agricultural products on e-commerce platforms through livestream sales methods and skills on online platforms or applications, contributing to improving the quality and price of local agricultural products.
