Awarding 75 scholarships and gifts to students in special and difficult circumstances

On May 21, at the hall of the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Nursing for Meritorious People, the Department of Health coordinated with the Vietnam Children's Fund and the Fund for a Beautiful Life - Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited of Vietnam to organize the awarding of scholarships and gifts to children in special and difficult circumstances in the province.

This is an activity in response to the Month of Action for Children 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children".

At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Health and Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited of Vietnam awarded 75 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, and backpacks to 75 students from primary and secondary schools in the province. These are all students with special circumstances and difficult circumstances who have made efforts to study well. The scholarships and gifts were sponsored by the For a Better Life Fund of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited of Vietnam, through the Vietnam Children's Fund.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Tran Thi Ngoc Nuong expressed her gratitude to Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Company Limited Vietnam for its valuable attention and sharing, both materially and spiritually, to help children with special circumstances and difficulties in the province.

“This action demonstrates social responsibility, the spirit of mutual love, and the fine traditions of our nation. I hope that in the future, the company will continue to accompany the Tay Ninh Department of Health in many more meaningful programs, contributing to the completion of goals for children. I wish the students to always try their best to study and practice to become good children, good students, worthy of being Uncle Ho's good children and have a joyful, safe and happy summer" - Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Nuong said.

Sharing at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Le Hoai Phuc Thanh - Director of Business Development in the Southeast Region, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam said that through programs and initiatives to support the community ineducation , health, environment and social charity, Dai-ichi Vietnam Company has contributed more than 76 billion VND, including helping more than 55,000 disadvantaged students nationwide achieve their dreams.

This is the 8th year, through the Vietnam Children's Fund, the Foundation for a Better Life, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited Vietnam has implemented many practical programs to support education and child care.

In 2025, the Foundation for a Better Life will continue to accompany the Vietnam Children's Fund with a sponsorship of VND 800 million, aiming to bring positive changes and a better life for Vietnamese children. This is also the 8th consecutive year that the unit and the Vietnam Children's Fund have coordinated to implement many practical programs to support education and child care, with a total sponsorship of VND 4.6 billion.

“With the message “Connecting millions of loves”, continuing the journey of spreading love and encouraging learning for students in special and difficult circumstances, we hope that this meaningful attention will help them have more determination to continue to strive to study well, towards a better future for themselves, their families and society in the future” - Mr. Le Hoai Phuc Thanh expressed.

The scholarships and gifts given to students have practical meaning, helping them overcome difficulties to continue to strive, achieve high achievements in study and training, creating motivation for them to continue to excel in their studies, become good children, good students in their family and society.
