The house was handed over to Major Nguyen Van Chi, an officer of the Drug and Crime Prevention Team, Trung Binh Border Guard Station, Soc Trang Border Guard. After more than 3 months of construction, the "Comrades' House" project has been completed as planned, the house with an area of nearly 100m2 is spacious and of good quality, the total cost to build the house is more than 200 million VND; of which, the Military Telecommunications Industry Group supported 80 million VND, the remaining amount was self-funded by the family. Previously, on July 8, the Tinh Bien International Border Guard Station, An Giang Border Guard coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tinh Bien town and the Party Committee and government of An Nong commune, Tinh Bien town, An Giang province to organize the handover ceremony of 6 "Border Warm Homes" houses to households in An Nong commune, Tinh Bien town, An Giang province. The handover ceremony of “Border Shelters” for the poor in border areas and “Comrades’ Houses” for families of soldiers in difficult circumstances organized by the Border Guard Command of An Giang and Soc Trang has many important meanings in supporting and improving the lives of disadvantaged people. “Border Shelters” and “Comrades’ Houses” help create shelters for the poor and families of soldiers in difficult circumstances, thereby improving their living conditions and quality of life.
