Donating livelihoods to support 37 poor households in Moc Chau ward

On August 14, Hai Van - Xuan Trang Company Limited coordinated with the People's Committee of Moc Chau Ward, Son La Province, to organize a program to donate livelihoods to support 37 poor households in the area.

Attending the program were leaders of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee and many people in the supported villages.

Hai Van Group representative gives support for house repair and construction of hygienic toilets to poor households.

The program has provided financial support and assistance to 37 poor households in the villages of Ta So 1; Ta So 2; Pa Phang, Co Liu and Chieng Pan. The households receiving support are mainly Mong and Thai ethnic groups, families living on slash-and-burn farming, with low incomes and difficult lives. After reviewing the actual needs of the households, the company has provided support in many forms, such as: repairing, upgrading, and building solid houses; building new hygienic toilets; purchasing supplies, fans, televisions, and smartphones; donating breeding cows; improving and upgrading cultural houses to help households stabilize their lives and escape poverty with a total value of 243.4 million VND.

Ward representatives and the committees committed to monitoring and urging households to use the funds for the right purposes and effectively.

Through the program, we aim to spread the good tradition and culture of "mutual love" and "helping each other" to help households overcome poverty and build a prosperous and happy life.
