According to the report of the Special Project Board, after 2 months of establishing and fighting the project, on May 8, 2023, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with the Department of Investigation Police on Drug Crimes of the Ministry of Public Security and Binh Duong Provincial Police to successfully break the 424T project, arresting 3 subjects including: Vang A Tung, in Sai Khao village, Muong Ly commune, Muong Lat district; Nguyen Minh Phong, born in 1993 and Nguyen Thanh Tung, born in 1992, both residing in Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province, illegally buying, selling and transporting drugs. The seized evidence included 14kg of synthetic drugs. This is a large drug trafficking and transportation ring from Laos to Thanh Hoa province, then transported to Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City for consumption.
In recognition of the outstanding achievements of the groups and individuals participating in the Project Board, the Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police proposed that the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee award Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 5 individuals. The Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and the Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 group and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of solving the case. At the same time, a bonus of 50 million VND was given to the Project Board.

During the fight against the Project, the units effectively coordinated and coordinated operations, captured the mastermind and leader, seized a large amount of drugs, contributing to ensuring security and order and preventing drugs from Laos from being smuggled into Vietnam.
In the coming time, the situation of crime and drug abuse will continue to be complicated, so units need to continue to implement coordination regulations well, regularly exchange information and situations related to the fight against crime in general and drug abuse in particular.
