Return 200 million VND to the person who transferred it by mistake

On September 20, Hanoi City Police said that Quang Bi Commune Police promptly assisted people in receiving back 200 million VND that was mistakenly transferred.

Previously, on September 17, the account of Mr. Ha Van Hien (born in 1992, residing in Quang Bi commune, Hanoi ) suddenly received 200 million VND from a strange account. Suspecting that the money transfer was a mistake, Mr. Hien went to the Quang Bi commune police to report.

Upon receiving the information, the Commune Police Command quickly directed the officers to coordinate with the bank and related units to verify the transaction content reported by Mr. Hien. Through verification, it was determined that Ms. To Thi Loi (born in 1976, residing in Ngu Thien commune, Hung Yen province) had mistakenly transferred the above amount of money into Mr. Hien's account.

The parties involved proceed to return the property.

Quang Bi Commune Police contacted and instructed Ms. Loi to fully follow the verification process; make a statement according to regulations and contact the bank to clarify the matter. On September 19, under the witness of Quang Bi Commune Police, Mr. Hien voluntarily returned the entire 200 million VND that was mistakenly transferred to Ms. Loi.

Expressing her emotions when receiving back the mistakenly transferred money, Ms. To Thi Loi sent her gratitude to Mr. Ha Van Hien and wrote a thank you letter to the Board of Directors of Hanoi City Police and Quang Bi Commune Police.

The parties involved worked at the headquarters of Quang Bi Commune Police.

The honest action, proactive reporting and voluntary return of property acquired by mistake by Mr. Ha Van Hien, along with the sense of responsibility and dedicated attitude of the Quang Bi Commune Police, are clear evidence of the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, strengthening people's trust in the police force, contributing to the strong development of the mass movement to protect national security and maintain security and order in the area.
