Buffalo number 06 won the championship at the Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival 2025.

On the morning of September 30th, at the Do Son Stadium in Hai Phong City, the festival took place. Do Son buffalo fighting 2025 has officially begun.

From early morning, tens of thousands of locals and tourists from all over the provinces and cities gathered to witness the thrilling matches of the buffalo fighting festival. Do Son - National intangible cultural heritage.

Following a brief and solemn opening ceremony, the 16 "buffaloes" began competing.

After eight matches, the winning buffaloes advanced to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.

After 14 exciting matches, some lasting tens of minutes and exhausting the buffaloes' energy, buffalo number 06 owned by artisan Dinh Dinh Phu and buffalo number 07 owned by Mr. Phi Van Hien finally advanced to the final.

Both "bulls" deserved to reach the final, having provided the audience with spectacular performances throughout their journey to the final match.

In addition, the two buffaloes also possess impressive physiques. Buffalo number 07 is 157cm tall, 230cm long, 230cm in chest circumference, 37cm in horn height, and 85cm in horn width; while buffalo number 06 is 144cm tall, 228cm long, 228cm in chest circumference, 38cm in horn height, and 68cm in horn width.

The final match was dramatic and exciting, with a fierce struggle between the two buffaloes. Buffalo number 07 took the initiative to attack buffalo number 06. However, buffalo number 06 quickly neutralized the attack.

Then the two "bulls" exchanged blows with dangerous tackles. Bull number 06 used a tackle to send bull number 07 tumbling to the ground.

After 4 minutes and 30 seconds of competition, buffalo number 06, owned by artisan Dinh Dinh Phu, won the championship. Buffalo number 07, owned by Mr. Phi Van Hien, took second place.

The two buffaloes, number 14 owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Nam and number 04 owned by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, shared third place.

At the festival, the organizers awarded the first prize of 100 million VND to buffalo number 06; the second prize of 70 million VND to buffalo number 07; and two third prizes of 30 million VND each to buffaloes number 04 and 14.

In addition, the organizers also awarded the prize for the best fighting buffalo pair to buffaloes 07 and 01; the prize for the buffalo with the best fighting move went to buffalo 14 owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Nam.
