On the morning of January 31 (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), at Bac Luan II Border Gate (Mong Cai City), import and export activities were bustling again after 2 days of Lunar New Year holiday. Mong Cai City leaders directly came to congratulate and give lucky money to businesses involved in manufacturing and driving vehicles transporting import and export goods to China.
On the day of resumption of operations after 2 days of Lunar New Year 2025, Bac Luan II Border Gate received 22 businesses to process goods, with 113 customs declarations, 112 trucks exporting fresh seafood and agricultural products to China.
The total volume of exported goods on January 31 reached 752 tons (368 tons of seafood; 384 tons of agricultural products), with a total export value of over 9.3 million USD, an increase of about 5 times compared to 2024.
Since early morning, the Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board and the provincial authorities have implemented many solutions to ensure the quick settlement of import and export procedures for businesses. Mong Cai City leaders also directly came to encourage, congratulate, and give lucky money to the forces, businesses, and drivers transporting import and export goods.
With the results from import and export activities on the first day of the new year of At Ty at Bac Luan II Border Gate, Mong Cai City in particular and the provincial Customs sector in general are confident that in 2025 there will be many breakthroughs in import and export activities and the state budget revenue will reach over 17,800 billion VND from import and export activities in the province.
