Also attending were leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches; representatives of a number of central press agencies, resident press agencies and press agencies operating in the province; Standing Committees of District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees; and leaders of provincial press agencies.

In 2023, the Central press agencies, the provincial press and all levels and sectors overcame difficulties, closely followed the political tasks of the province, strengthened coordination, diversified news, articles and propaganda forms; promptly informed and propagated the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies and laws, creating a spread and consensus among the people. Press activities basically ensured the principles and purposes, had a focus and key points, effectively served the local political tasks, contributed to the overall success of many important events and promoted the socio-economic development of the province.

The direction, orientation and management of press activities continue to be innovated, ensuring timeliness, comprehensiveness, focus and key points. Inspection and examination of compliance with legal regulations on press activities are carried out regularly, with special attention paid to management, rectification and handling of information in the press and social networks; checking and clarifying information reported by the press on difficulties and shortcomings to direct remedies and feedback to press agencies.

In 2023, there were over 5,000 news and articles written by central news agencies and newspapers about Ninh Binh, comprehensively reflecting economic , cultural and social activities; Party building, political system building; national defense - security; introducing and promoting the province's tourism development potential. Ninh Binh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station continued to have many news, articles and images, comprehensively reflecting the implementation of the province's political tasks, outstanding domestic and international situations that attracted public attention. Many members of the Provincial Journalists Association actively participated in awards and journalism competitions organized by the Central Government, provincial departments and branches, winning high prizes...

Also at the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department provided an overview of the province's socio-economic situation and Party building in 2023; key tasks and strategic development orientations of the province in 2024.

With a spirit of frankness and responsibility, the delegates discussed and clarified the achievements, difficulties, limitations and shared issues that need attention in current press work related to providing information and propaganda orientation for press agencies; issues of management, rectification and coordination of inspection, verification, information processing, and response to a number of complex and prominent cases reported by the press; the attractiveness and professionalism in press types of provincial press agencies; participation in press competitions organized by the Central and local levels; the situation of one-way information, not ensuring objectivity in a number of central press agencies; the issue of digital transformation in press activities...

Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Bui Mai Hoa acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of local press agencies, provincial journalists and reporters from local newspapers.

Emphasizing the key political tasks of the province in 2024 and strategic orientations in the coming time; noting the advantages, difficulties and challenges, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested the provincial and central press agencies to continue to actively coordinate with the province to do a good job of propagating the province's political tasks. The focus is on propagating activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament in conjunction with the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh; the event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Strongly propagating the implementation of the main goals and tasks from now until the last year of the term, effectively participating in policy responses, thereby contributing to providing information, helping all levels and sectors effectively implement the tasks, solutions and strategic orientations of the province.

Along with that, it is necessary to focus on propaganda work to carry out the task of arranging administrative units, creating consensus in society. Propaganda and implementation of the Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, in which the provincial press agencies need to open special pages and columns, and increase articles on this issue. Propaganda on the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 after being approved by the Prime Minister, towards the goal of building Ninh Binh into a "Millennium Heritage City", a centrally-run city by 2035.

He also requested that all levels, sectors, localities and units pay attention and create favorable conditions for journalists and press agencies to work and complete their tasks. Journalists and press agencies need to be more active in participating in competitions and press awards organized by the Central and local levels.

Emphasizing the role of press agencies as an important element in the Party's propaganda work and the people's forum, he believed that in the coming time, the provincial and central press agencies will always accompany and coordinate with the province to promote enthusiasm and intelligence, do a good job of propaganda work, contribute to encouraging and motivating people of all walks of life to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, and build Ninh Binh to develop more and more.
