Deploy and guide the development of socio-economic indicators

At Quang Binh bridge, delegates attended the conference at the Provincial Statistics Office and the District Statistics Team.

The goal of the conference is to deploy and guide localities to build a framework for the most common socio -economic indicators so that leaders at all levels from the central level can compare and evaluate between provincial-level localities; provincial leaders can grasp, compare and evaluate between communes after the merger in terms of socio-economic indicators during the term and have directions and orientations in the next period.

Regarding economic indicators, the conference introduced the content and method of calculating the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) index; the content and method of calculating the index of the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP; and instructions for compiling the index of the growth rate of total product value at the commune level.

Regarding social statistics indicators, delegates were instructed and introduced to the content and method of calculating the human development index (HDI) and the content and method of calculating the average income per capita indicator...

In Quang Binh, the Provincial Statistics Office coordinated with the subcommittee for drafting documents for the Provincial Party Congress to develop a list of 28 key socio-economic and environmental indicators; at the same time, develop 8 key indicators to include in the congress resolution for provincial leaders to direct commune-level implementation after completing the merger.
