Conclusion No. 53-KL/TW dated April 28, 2023 of the Politburo on international integration and defense diplomacy until 2030 and the following years is of great significance, concretizing the Party's foreign policy, consistently implementing the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace , friendship, cooperation and development; diversifying and multilateralizing foreign relations; ensuring the highest national interests on the basis of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, equality, cooperation, mutual benefit; Vietnam is a friend, a reliable partner and an active, responsible member of the international community.

Conference scene took place on the afternoon of May 25.

To implement the conclusion, the Ministry of National Defense assigned the General Department of Politics to direct relevant agencies to study and coordinate with agencies of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, and the Foreign Affairs Party Committee to develop documents guiding provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party Committees, Party delegations, and Party committees directly under the Central Committee to concretize the conclusion into programs and plans for implementation. The Ministry of National Defense also assigned the Foreign Affairs Department to study, report, and propose to the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to advise the Government and the Prime Minister on organizing the implementation of the conclusion; to preside over the study and propose to the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to develop programs and plans to organize the dissemination and implementation of the conclusion within the scope of the Ministry of National Defense; to monitor, urge, and periodically inspect, summarize, and conclude the implementation.

After listening to the delegates at the Conference contributing their opinions, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien requested that the relevant agencies, with their responsibilities and duties, urgently study, report, and propose programs and plans to organize, disseminate, and implement the Conclusion to ensure consistency, quality, and effectiveness.
