North Korea will discuss amending its Constitution.

The Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea (North Korean Parliament ) is scheduled to hold its 11th session of the 14th National Assembly from October 7-10 in Pyongyang.

This session will focus on amending the Constitution and related issues such as laws on light industry and laws on foreign economic affairs. In addition, monitoring the enforcement of product quality control laws will also be on the agenda.

Last January, leader Kim Jong-un called for amendments to the Constitution, which would address relations with South Korea as well as the feasibility of reunifying the two Koreas.
