The Department of Cinema said that the film series celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection will end today, August 15, at the Central Highlands Cinema Center, Dak Lak province.
The works screened this time include: the feature film "The Old Lady Goes Dusty" produced by Feature Film Joint Stock Company I; the feature film "Nam Xuan Memories" produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company; the documentaries "Flying on the Wings of Freedom" and "Special Companion" by People's Police Cinema, along with a number of other films planned to be released by the Cinema Department.
Within the framework of this activity, there will also be exchange programs between artists and actors of the three film crews "Peach, Pho and Piano", "The Old Lady Goes Busy" and "Nam Xuan Memories" with the people, armed forces and students of Dak Lak province.
Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema Do Quoc Viet expressed his hope that through emotional films about revolutionary war and family themes, shown in Dak Lak province and the whole country, audiences will be able to review the heroic history of the nation, contributing to spreading patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great national unity... and the attachment and preservation of sacred feelings in each family. From there, everyone will raise awareness and sense of responsibility in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.
