The truth about students having to stand and bow to teachers in the cold weather in Thanh Hoa

Notably, in recent days in Thanh Hoa province, the weather has been cold, with some days the temperature being below 10 degrees Celsius, so the act of students standing outside for a long time and bowing to teachers sitting in cars has caused many people to think that this is offensive, when students are suffering from the cold while teachers are sitting warm in cars.

Many people think that it is offensive to let students stand outside in the cold weather to bow to teachers sitting in cars.

Immediately after the information and images appeared on social networks, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa City requested the Board of Directors of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School to report and clarify the incident.

Responding to the press, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Principal of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School, said that the school has a main gate on Le Quy Don Street for students to enter and exit the school, and a side gate on Han Thuyen Street for teachers to enter and exit the school.

Ms. Lan explained that every day, two students stand at the side gate and bow when a teacher enters the school. This is the activity of the red flag team to record and remind other students who do not enter the correct gate. The school does not require students to bow when they see a teacher driving a car into the school.
