Many people think that when it's cold, you shouldn't shower or bathe at the same time or only once every few days, but I'm afraid that will make me more susceptible to illness. What should I do?
Reply:
The North is getting colder, many people are afraid to bathe for fear of catching a cold, especially people with underlying diseases and children under two years old. However, in cold weather, you need to pay more attention to personal hygiene and bathing safely to avoid affecting your health. People with underlying diseases also need to clean their bodies every day to keep them clean and prevent viruses from entering.
To ensure safety, you should bathe from the neck down first, let your hands and feet get used to the water, then wash your hair. Bath time should only be about 10 minutes, not too long. The water temperature should not be too hot to dissolve the oil layer, causing dry skin, nor too cold to cause vasoconstriction, which is not good for the circulatory system. The reasonable temperature is about 40 degrees.
After bathing, you can wash your hair for 5 to 7 minutes, do not soak for too long.
Note, do not bathe when you are too hungry, too full, drunk or tired or just woke up. Do not bathe in an area that is too cold or windy. You should dry your body and hair, wear clothes carefully to keep your body warm after bathing. Do not bathe immediately after vigorous exercise that causes sudden changes in body temperature.
Bathe before 8pm. Do not bathe at night or early in the morning as it can easily cause stroke or accident.
