Vice Chairman of Trieu Trach Commune People's Committee Tran Dong said: This year, Trieu Trach Commune has produced over 10 hectares of nettles. After about 3 months of planting and caring, it has now entered harvest. The average yield is 110 quintals/ha. Currently, nettle prices range from 20,000 to 25,000 VND/kg, so each hectare brings in revenue of 220 to 275 million VND, much higher than many other crops. These days, Trieu Trach Commune people are urgently harvesting to serve the needs of the Lunar New Year.

Currently, Trieu Trach commune is encouraging people to expand the area, exploit the strengths of the sandy area to grow neem trees, and move towards building a concentrated neem tree growing area, and developing VietGAP products. This is a reasonable direction to exploit the strengths of the sandy area, increase the value of the products, and contribute to increasing people's income.
